Grandma and Grandpa Sommermeyer are carrying on the family tradition of giving each of their grandchildren special collections. Eli's collection is TRAINS. He got an early Christmas present this week...The Polar Express! Judging from the smile on Zach's face, he thinks the train is his (in fact he was tracking the UPS man's delivery schedule all day on Friday:). Eli sat and watched it intently for quite awhile. This train will go around the bottom of our Christmas tree this year.
Speaking of Grandma and Grandpa...they came to visit just recently and spent some quality time with Eli

Eli looks scared!IN OTHER NEWS... Eli cut his first tooth this week. As soon as it comes up far enough for us to take a picture of it without torturing him, we will :).
