Happy Birthday!

Zach will be celebrating his 31st birthday this coming week. If you don't really know Zach I hope that someday you can sit down with him for an hour or so...because in that hour you will learn a lot and laugh a lot. In honor of his 31st, here are 31 factoids about Zach:

1. He once did a 5-day scuba diving expedition at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
2. The specialty dinner that he occasionally fixes? - Texas style Beanie Weenies.
3. He used to have hair down to his chin, and on special occasions he would slick it back "mafia" style.
4. He has never had braces, or contacts, or glasses. He has had surgery on both knees though.
5. He is a really good physical therapist. I've never been a patient of his myself, but I know from the many many patients that have made a point of telling me.
6. He has a Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy and still toys around with the idea of getting a Master's of Divinity or Master's of Business Administration.
7. I would consider him a speed reader. He can read 4 pages in a book in the time I read 1. But maybe I'm just slow.
8. He enjoys mowing the lawn. It's his time to "think."
9. He was born on Long Island, NY.
10. He is a very involved dad. He enjoys playing with Eli and taking him on field trips to Lowe's.
11. He once lived in this pink house.
12. He's a very funny guy and is joking around 60% of the time.
13. He can put anything together
14. He gave therapy to the guy on the left. 15. He used to have a crush on the red-headed nun on the movie "Sister Act".
16. He plays the saxophone and used to sing in the church choir.
17. He doesn't eat raw tomatoes.
18. He's really good at putting people at ease and breaking the ice with new people.
19. He loves anything that has to do with Texas, Houston particularly.
20. In high school he played the role of "Daddy Warbucks" in the musical "Annie".
21. He has been skydiving.
22. His right ankle clicks every time he takes a step.
23. He needs his back scratched before he goes to sleep at night.
24. He is extremely handy (as you may have read in earlier posts) and can manage most any household project without the help of a professional.
25. He is very eager to share the Good News.
26. He gets very excited (almost too excited) when he gets/receives/buys a new tool.
27. He has run 3 marathons.
28. He is impossible to have a conversation with while he's looking at his computer or watching sports.
29. He likes to tell people about the quality of this hat...how they advertise that an elephant can swallow it and when it comes out the other end, all you need to do is clean it off and put it back on your head.

30. He talks with some member of his immediate family (mom, dad, brother) at least once a day. 31. And finally....He is a very patient, forgiving husband, a very loving dad, and a has a huge heart for serving people.

Happy Birthday, honey! I love you!
