To our faithful blog readers: You may have noticed that I wrote about our training for Turkey back in June, but we have not moved to Turkey yet! Here's the latest: We spent the month of July wrapping up jobs, completing home improvement projects (see basement pics several posts below), selling some of our personal belongings, and packing boxes. In Aug. and Sept. our travel/presenation schedule swings in to high gear. We will hit IA, OK, TX, IN, NY, and NJ saying our "goodbyes" to family, doing presentations, and gaining support for our future work. Then, following a language program in CO, we're aiming to arrive in Turkey at the end of October. We are preparing to send out our first E-Newsletter. This will be the main way we communicate with people while we are overseas.
