2. Most clocks are in military time (cell phone, microwave, t.v. schedule, etc.).
3. We go to the grocery store almost everyday. The closest "full" grocery store is about 2 blocks away and we walk there. While walking 2 blocks with groceries sounds easy...it's not if you have heavy bags (I've chased items as they rolled down the street). It's much easier buy less and go more often.
4. The call to prayer rings out 5 times a day. Unless we're outside or have the windows open, we only faintly hear it. Since it goes about the same time every day it helps me to know what time it is.
5. Tips are optional, and aren't expected.
6. Crosswalks and stop signs are few and far between...which makes crossing a busy street a dangerous task.

lol. I hear ya on the differences. Isn't the potato truck so incredibly interesting?
