1. When Eli hurts himself, we kiss whatever it is that hurts. We slap Eli's hand when he touches something dangerous or purposefully disobeys. Now, after we slap his hand he'll stick it up to our mouths and ask us to kiss it.
2. We were in a toy store this weekend. As we were leaving Eli noticed a puppet near the door. The puppet had a long (white) beard and long (white) hair. Eli pointed and shouted, "Jesus."
3. The other day Eli was studying the package of wipes, particularly the baby that was on the package, and he said, "baby Jesus."
4. When Zach gets out of the shower he dries his hair with a towel. Eli will pull the hand towel from the hook and dry his hair as well.
5. Today Eli was messing with Zach's tea cup even though he repeatly told him not to touch it. He got in trouble and came running to me. We went back to daddy and on my prompting in his little voice he said, "Sorry Daddy." Oh, melt my heart.
6. Eli and I often slow dance right before it's time to put him to bed. He just lays his head on my shoulder and hums to the music. He often falls asleep like that. He's super sweet.
7. When going through the animals sounds, Zach will imitate an elephant by making a fake trunk and blowing into his arm for a elephant sound (you know what I mean, right??). When Eli is asked "What does and elephant say?" he puts his hand to his mouth and blows.
