An entire village of painted houses in Slovakia. The inspiration supposedly came from embroidery they used to do.
The Slovakia Bethlehem. The largest wood carving we've ever seen containing a scene from every Slovak region and front and center is the manger scene of Jesus' birth. It has moving, working parts too. Amazing.

Love getting to see all the pics--looks like you all had a good trip! The one of Eli and his friends coloring makes it look like he really surpased them in coloring skills on his side of the page. ;)
