We're Here!

We made it!  4 airports + 15 bags & a pack-n-play + a 1.5 year old....and we made it!  Eli was unbelievably good!  He got fussy about 3 times but never had an all out cry.  And we got all of our bags!!  That never happens for us! :)

We've now been here for two full days and are getting settled (putting things away, setting up banking, tax i.d. numbers, phone, Internet, etc.). We went shopping yesterday for household necessities and surprisingly it wasn't too overwhelming.  Most items have pictures on them making it fairly easy to guess what they are.  We really like our apartment and are working out some of the new tenant kinks (i.e. getting all of the light fixtures to work, hot water, etc. :)  There is a little play room for Eli and he's also been up playing with our Turkish-American neighbor boys every day now.  

I'll write more details when we have our own Internet set up and I have more time.
