Learning and Waiting

Today we went to apply for our residence permits. Our language helper went along to help us through this process, and we quickly discovered he was a necessity. It was a very confusing 4 hour process as we were directed from floor to floor, room to room. We started out at one office applying for one thing, only to be sent to another office several miles away to apply for something else. The end result is that we wait for 3 weeks to see if different visas are approved which will then allow us to apply for residence permits.
