Re-Decorating

Today we are going to attempt to paint a room in our apartment.  Turks are very fond of bright and vibrant colors...orange walls with orange furniture..sunshine yellow kitchens...lime green bedrooms...bright purple carpets...etc.  These are only a few of the bold choices I've heard of since living here.  Luckily, our apartment isn't quite that bright but several of our rooms are a violet/"bubble gum pink" combo, including Eli's room.  So, today we're attempting to paint.  I say "attempting" because the paint here has to be mixed with water (we're not sure why) and apparently no one does it themselves.  They always hire out.  But of course, Handyman Zach is going to take a stab at it.
