Finally, blogger has cooperated long enough for me to upload three pictures. This is just an example of the great looking buildings in Germany. I don't know what they have in the water there, but the flowerbox displays were incredible!

The banner photo: The Trojan horse that sits on the ruins of the ancient city of Troy which is in Çannakale, Turkey. Legend has it that during the Trojan war it was looking bleak for one side. They decided to "surrender" and make peace sending a large horse like this to the other side. However, they had soldiers hiding in the large horse who were able to get out and take over the city. This is also the place where the movie "TROY" with Brad Pitt was filmed, but they reconstructed a different horse for the movie. It sits in the center of modern city, Çannakale.
