This Week in Pictures

We had a couple of sunny days this week so we took advantage and had dinner up on our terrace.
Eli the "tuk tuk" driver - it's hard to see but there is a wire running from the back of Eli's bike to the front of Noah's car. This makes for at least 30 mins. of free time for mom and dad.
One of the many things that Zach loves about his dad is that he taught him how to use tools and do general construction/electrical work. Zach desires to do the same thing with our boys, and he's already got many projects lined up for Eli. Here they are building a bird feeder.
 Ready for the paint
They went to the store together so that Eli could pick out a paint color.
Eli and I also made our first homemade pizza this week.
Dominoes is still better.
My little dude and his goofy smile!
Friday is "holy day" in Turkey, where men flock to the mosque for prayer and to listen to a message from the imam. While traffic and parking rules seem only to be suggestions in Ankara, they are really thrown out the window near the mosques on Fridays. I took this picture from my car. The silver van and the black car (the one furthest to the left) were moving. The rest of the cars in this photo were just parked illegally in the middle of the road. Several policemen on motorcycles squeezed through on my lefthand side while I was sitting there, but they did nothing about the parking problem.
