Today, some dear friends here in Turkey threw a joint baby shower for me and and another friend who is due 2 weeks before me. We've all been part of the same bible study here so it was not just a "baby shower" but a "prayer shower" as well. We spent time in worship and the ladies spent a significant time praying for our new little boys, their older siblings, and our families as we enter this new phase of parenthood. I was truly blessed by their prayers for my unborn and for the gifts that they showered on me!!
They all went together and bought baby Sommermeyer a highchair! The one we used here for Eli belongs to our landlord and the upholstery is being held together with packaging tape :)
Eli was also a part of the day as he was prayed for and received some little toys too.
